Empower yourself to make the change possible

People are the lynchpin and strength of an organisation. They are, therefore, worth their weight in gold if people use their talents in practice. Moreover, using their essential core qualities is indispensable to be able to work with passion and pleasure. People should use, in particular, the qualities that make them so unique daily to make the switch to working from the heart, with passion and pleasure. That translates into well-behaved delegated responsibilities, better performances, and improved organisational culture.
You can discover core qualities not only in yourself but also in a team and the organisation as a whole. Becoming aware of these talents and core qualities coupled with carrying out an intrinsic mission is, therefore, a significant start on the road to success.
Workshop Core Qualities
IPW-Core Quadrants workshop
One can identify Core Qualities by recognising their pitfalls of behaviour, the associated challenges, and allergies (1st figure on the left). Besides, you can use the reactions to the conduct of others, especially if you are allergic to someone (2nd figure). The connection between the core quality, pitfall, challenge, and allergy is the so-called Core Quadrant.
In this workshop, you will work with various applications of the Core Quadrant.

Goal

The main goal of this workshop is that participants have a useful tool with which they can change themselves and their collaboration with others. In practical terms, this means that the participants:
  • Gain insight into the importance of their individual Core Qualities and the associated Core Quadrant on their functioning.
  • Obtain a tool to map out Core Qualities and associated Core Quadrant and apply this to situations they want to change.
  • Become aware of current patterns in their functioning at work and be able to collaborate with others and gain insights to break this down if necessary.
  • Learning to shift attention to Core Qualities and (new) challenges so that they restore their abilities to seeing (new) opportunities.

For whom?

The workshop is intended for people who are curious about their Core Qualities to be able to use them to deal with particular situations more efficiently, to investigate interactions with customers or teammates, or to work better together.

What you can expect

In the morning, we will lay the basis for individual Core Quadrants to be dis-covered. After lunch, we will discuss the interactions with others, and you will work in small groups to dis-cover the Core Quadrants of teams and the organisation itself.
For the interaction with others, we will use the double quadrant to find answers to questions such as: 'Why can I work so well with that person?', 'Why am I annoyed by that one and that one so badly?' or 'Why doesn't it click with that person?'.

Practical

This workshop takes one full day plus one-half return day. We prefer to give this workshop at a location agreed upon outside your organisation. The number of participants is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 to be able to give the necessary personal attention in uncovering the core quadrants.

Information and quotation

You can combine this workshop with the workshops Service-oriented Communication and Synergy & Alignment to implement a different way of working within the organisation. After the workshop, the Core Quadrants can also be deepened and used in an individual coaching trajectory.
